South Texas Coffee Initiative Logos

I was asked to design a set of logos for new coffee distributor to help start to establish their brand and style. I took inspiration from the location of their coffee farms along the Rio Grande and the Texas/Southwestern vibes of the current style while still elevating the brand.

A previous client reached out to me to design a logo for his new podcast and platform dedicated to creating a space for discussing issues in a bipartisan, neutral space. The concept was to ensure all parties interviewed were represented and quoted correctly, which primarily inspired the concept of quotes and the initials of the name to create a unique and versatile logo mark.

I was asked to create a logo for a medical device and consulting company focusing on Electrophysiology staff training and consulting for hospital systems, device manufactures, and industry professionals. The logo is simple and easily communicates the 2 main focuses of the company while using colors that are more modern and lively compared to competitors in the field.

As a branding and web design exploration, I decided to create Sweet Pea Sparkling Herbal Tea, a company with the mission to provide the highest quality herbal tea with a touch of sparkle. Each drink starts with high quality green tea, infused with organic and ethically sourced herbs, ending with a touch of natural sweetener and sparkling water. For the overall design, starting with the logo, I wanted to create a sophisticated mark featuring the brands namesake flower to draw importance of ingredients. For the remaining elements, I kept it simple and clean with bold color blocking and an added a touch of playfulness with illustrations and copy to bring overall branding together.

During lockdown, I created Sown Handcrafted Goods specializing in hand designed and crafted art. The pieces feature hand sewn plants on abstract hand painted backgrounds. The branding itself focuses on aspects of my childhood and growing up in the south with the primary motifs being a pecan and magnolia tree as the works focus on plants and insects as the main inspiration. While my stint as an etsy seller was very short, the branding remains very meaningful to me and is still one of my favorite things I’ve worked on.
